My exposure to glass blowing first came in 1977. I found it to be an illusive, difficult and
challenging material to predict and control. Being totally mesmerized, I could not let it go
unexplored. First begining work at a private studio and a year, then I applied to the University of
Minnesota's Glass program. Later I studied at the Pilchuck School of Glass in Seattle, followed
by an enlightening year as apprentice in Sweden with two master glassblowers, Jan Erik Ritzman
and Svenne Carllson . . . . Robinson Scott |
